While for whatever reason it's not listed on MAL, this was a manga series made to promote the webnovel the series is based on. This sort of thing is rather common, a quick 3-5 volume manga series to get more eyeballs onto the written version, there's loads of these, and they all have the same problem: If you're not interested in reading the full novel, they're sort of pointless to read. Three volumes is not a lot, it's just about enough time to get a sense of this world and these characters and maybe have one major conflict. The problem with this is, because it knowsit only had three volumes to work with, they really rushed this out.

For what is meant to be a slow life series, it feels like plot points are raced through at breakneck speed. Things are introduced, given the barest of examinations and resolved in just a chapter or two, and everything just sort of feels bland because of it. There's stakes and interesting ideas here, but things go from dire to resolved so fast you don't have enough time to really sink your teeth into anything, and that's seriously so it's detriment.

Because of the speed of things, you end up feeling that these characters and events are very shallow, even when they're some serious depth that could be explored, none of it feels present due to the way the story is told. It doesn't make me want to read the webnovel, instead it just makes me upset they didn't commit the time to making the manga any good.

Maybe the webnovel is better, I don't know, I'm not reviewing that, but the speedy pace given to the manga to get some interesting ideas out and tempt you into reading it really did not do the manga any favours. It ends up feeling bland and generic and does not make you want to read what honestly could be a good webnovel if the ideas shown here are properly fleshed out.
