Smother Me felt really personal. It’s a quick read and every panel feels like it means something, nothing feels random or thrown in just for show. There’s this quiet way everything is drawn and paced. Snake as a character makes it hit even harder. the way he looks at people, he’s carrying so much inside but doesn’t know how to say any of it. You can tell he wants connection, he wants someone to understand him, but he’s scared of it at the same time. It’s amazing how a manga this short can make you feel like you’re sitting inside someone else’s quiet thoughts.
