This could have been the best fantasy manga out there, but plenteous plot holes are displayed too blatantly. There were some characters who needed some background development. Lastly, the concept switch is just too much, which is not my personal taste at all, it's hard to bind overwhelming fluff with the dark atmosphere in a single manga, and this proves it. Although, needless to say, the magic system in this manga is executed astronomically, it inspired me to pursue my knowledge about witchcraft knowing there are many types of magic out there.
