I made the decision to read the whole manga before the Anime. Considering this manga title came out several years ago, I would give it 7 stars at most. The MC is a good-natureded tank combatant who got kicked from his party for being useless. Soon after meeting someone, he learns he is not as weak as others may thinkStory-wisese, it continues with him becoming stronger while retaining his great qualities as a tank. I was expecting the typical character buildup development, and by a twist, there are more. He creates a clan, befriending bad guys, and even managing monster dungeons. This isn't all fun and games, some great mechanicsgo to explain how exactly these happen.

Now addressing the characters, to be frank, their personalities are sort of...simple.
Like they are only acting within their roles while having no special traits or features.
This is sort of a bummer, as the story could have gone on a larger scale as after a dozen or few chapters, you will realize the pacing..is slow for the development.

There is one quote I like from the manga:
The MC said he would be a shield for others who don't have one themselves
