Medalist Season 2 · review

Unlike the first season, the drama here focuses more on the competition. The protagonist has "overcome" her initial fear of failure and having to abandon the sport, showing considerable maturity. The coach keeps pace, as he initially feared holding her back by being a bad teacher. The animation remains top-notch, just like in the first season, and the attention to detail in the competition scenes is evident. The 3D is used only when necessary, without exaggeration, and very well subtly, as in the previous season. What I found strange at first was the short length of the season, but I believe the film will adaptsome mini-arc from the manga.
