Review of A Whisker Away

I was extremely excited for this movie since it gave off similar vibes to Kimi no Nawa and Studio Ghibli movies. This entire movie was basically a knock off of the cat returns but replace the main character with the most unnecessarily annoying, energetic, clingy, and stalkerish girl. None of the characters motives really make sense since character development is poor in my opinion. Nothing about this movie was special and if you want a cat anime there are PLENTY of others you could watch without wasting your time on this. I'd give this a higher rating since it wasn't as appalling as some otheranime I have seen but the fact that this is so painfully similar to the Cat Returns makes this not even worth giving pity points.
