After years of watching anime, this show has finally brought myself to the purest level of enlightenment. I have considered the possible consequences, and have meditated on the things I may see and experience, but I have come to decide that in order to reach full enlightenment, it must be done. No, I am not talking about the ability to even try to connect and form bonds with those around you in real life, nor unlocking my inner degeneracy, nor even fangasming over the now alternate shitty idol shows like Love Live, Aikatsu or The Idolm@ster. I, my friends, am talking about the amazingness thatis Garugaku. It has been constantly overlooked, its viewership not taken seriously, but as I have come to discover, watching Garugaku is one of the most powerful versions of enlightenment possible. It brings you straight into a world of pure bliss. A world of passionate idols as far as the eye can see. The best part: They all build on each other's strengths are not just rivals but best friends. This world is currently inhabited by very few, but these few have been truly enlightened. These few have reached where no other men have reached before: the best anime to ever exist. There is no possible form of enlightenment more powerful than one that brings the tears to you as you watch their tearful breakup. And may God bless those poor idols so that they can survive the hellscape that is New York.

infinity/10. Truly heartmoving.
