Review of Texhnolyze
English When I went to watch it, I had high expectations, and the anime really delivered something very good. The fact that it's a "retro" cyberpunk work is quite striking and stands out for breaking certain paradigms within the genre. It's a very well-crafted piece, with excellent characters and a strong narrative that handles multiple plotlines simultaneously in a wonderful way. In my opinion, the protagonist is the central point of the story: his internal development is amazing. His existential struggle with his Texhnolyze limbs and his moments of vulnerability bring intense and emotional situations. The materialist implications that the work subtly suggests are another highlight. They introduceexcellent philosophical themes and give the story greater depth, which I really appreciated.
The ending delivers what was expected: no loose ends and a convincing conclusion. However, I felt there was a lack of emotion in the final scenes, and the anime’s disjointed pacing makes it less inviting. That's why I wouldn’t recommend this work to just anyone. Overall, it's a great anime, and I really enjoyed its beauty and how it delivered on its promises. But, for me, it’s not a work I’d recommend to most people.

Quando fui assistir, estava com altas expectativas, e o anime realmente me entregou algo muito bom. O fato de se tratar de um cyberpunk "retrógrado" é muito destacável e chama a atenção por romper com certos paradigmas do gênero.
É uma obra muito bem ambientada, com excelentes personagens e uma boa narrativa que lida com várias tramas ao mesmo tempo de forma maravilhosa. Na minha opinião, o protagonista é o ponto central da história: toda a evolução interna dele é sensacional. Seu enfrentamento existencial com seus membros texhnolyze e seus momentos de fragilidade entregam situações intensas e cheias de emoção.
As implicações materialistas que a obra deixa implícito é outro elemento que vale salientar, é algo que traz pautas filosóficas excelentes e uma profundidade maior à obra, o que me agradou muito.
O final entrega o que se esperava: nenhuma ponta solta e uma conclusão convincente. Porém, senti que faltou mais sentimento nas cenas finais, e o ritmo truncado do anime acaba o tornando pouco convidativo. É por esse motivo que eu não indicaria a obra para qualquer um. De modo geral, é um baita anime e me agradou muito na beleza e por entregar o que promete, mas, para mim, não é uma obra recomendável para maior parte das pessoas.
