Review of Devilman: Crybaby

This is best watched with an open mind and ability to see the underlying meanings buried under a simple yet fast-paced storyline of Evil vs the human heart. The framework of the series is formed on religion and the themes of drugs, sex and desires are purposely meant to challenge that aspect from a human - demon - godly perspective. I don't suggest watching Devilman Crybaby unless you are open to ambiguous ideas constantly thrown quickly and directly at you. I rated this an overall 7 purely out of personal enjoyment even though the storyline and delivery were brilliantly designed. It will either make youoverthink or over complicate which only you decide if thats enjoyable or not
