Review of Mob Psycho 100 II

Mob Psycho II is an excellent follow-up from its first season, and honestly for me and many Mob fans out there, we are one when I say that season 2 is better than season 1. It generally feels like season 1 was just messing around, it tried to focus on so many things,and it ended up just being unable to stand on its own two feet, a lot of areas were lacking, only being saved by a somewhat decent final arc.Season 2 is completely different tho from its predecessor. It focuses on the characters of Mob and Reigen the most, it has many worthwhile moments,clever witt from the two characters, brilliant action scenes, amazing pacing, and tons of character development that was definetely needed. Season 2 just took everything good about the first one, took a different approach and made the anime even better.

PROS:
-Amazing character development and storylines
-Some characters finally got their chance to shine, and I felt like even if some of them are underdeveloped they still are able to play a part in the story
-Banger of a soundtrack
-Epic fight scenes
-Despite Season 2 being episodic, except for the final arc, this season accomplishes a lot of things, and answers many unanswered questions left by the first season.
-Reigen has a good character arc, not my favorite tho as my favorite is the claw arc.

CONS:
-Novel girl from episode 1, Ichi and Tsubomi are scattered to the side, and the anime doesn't do anything with them.
-Soundtrack is not a good as season 1, but still decent enough
-Was hoping for a Tsubomi arc tho, even tho her character felt
shallow and generic AF.

Overall Mob Psycho II is a massive improvement from its first season. It really leveled up in terms of character development, fight scenes, arcs and everything else that made the first one great, except for the soundtrack which I feel like season 1 had a better OP. I give Mob Psycho II a 9/10, damn near perfect score as I thoroughly enjoyed and loved this second season of Mob Psycho, it has also made me have new found levels of respect and gratitude for this anime, job well done Mob Psycho II, you really outdid yourself One [ Creator of One Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100]
