Review of Black Clover

Hands down one of the best anime I’ve ever watched. From the very beginning there’s several branching mysteries from many characters that just allows you to get theories brewing on what could be up with a certain character or what could possibly happen next etc. each individual character gets their shine and thought out character development throughout the series. No one ever felt like they had serious potential and was just tossed to the side like in other anime such as rock lee in naruto. Our MC Asta has fought through his shortcomings by never giving up and always pulling through when he’s needed. He’ssaved everyone countless times even though he constantly had to deal with the classism of the black clover world. He does it knowing that regardless of what the higher class may say about him and his upbringing he WILL be wizard king one day and each episode shows that even though he has no magic, it’s very possible for him to achieve his goal through the endless hard work he puts in. The variety of magic in black clover is also one of my favorite parts of the anime. A lot of which are pretty out of the box. the way the power scale is structured everything just feels very cohesive. Characters aren’t beating other characters who are clearly stronger in this show. Teamwork has always brought down the biggest and the baddest and that’s important in black clover being a magic knight apart of a team which includes the building of bonds upon one Another. Honestly I watch a lot of main stream anime such as my hero academia, jujutsu Kaisen, demon slayer, dr stone etc. these are absolute excellent anime but in my opinion NONE of these shows excites me more than black clover. NONE of these shows have me looking forward to the next episode more than black clover does. Black clover had me rewatching episodes right after they ended because they are just so good. I started reading manga because of black clover, I just couldn’t wait a week for the next episode so I popped my manga cherry and dived into the black clover manga and I haven’t looked back. Even after catching up to the manga I STILL have that excited feeling every week a new episode of black clover airs. It’s just that great to me. I never thought I’d read manga but as yami would say, SURPASS YOUR LIMITS! RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW! And just like asta always does I did too!
