Review of Parasyte: The Maxim

Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu is the enthralling story which kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire ride. The story starts out pretty weird, but it quickly won me over by having the characters so incredibly flashed out and relatable, it truly captivates human emotions perfectly, and the whole 'the hunter becomes the prey' premise makes it a very thrilling story, rich with development. I only found the ending to be somewhat rushed, but still satisfying to a certain degree. The art and sound are nothing special, but they do the job just fine. There are some, particularly grim scenes, in which the artdoes stand out though, and they make the experience all the better.

If you are a fan of suspenseful stories, filled with action and a slight tone of horror, you might have just found your match.
