Review of Steins;Gate 0

Steins;Gate 0 was an unneeded sequel to Steins;Gate. The plot is so easily forgettable and the actions of each character were predictable. They also didn't explain discrepancies in the plot. However, this season was much more emotional to watch MC try to live with his choices and tugged on my heartstrings a little. Though it felt like another pointless time-traveling loop to prevent another huge event. Pointless deaths to poke viewers' hearts then reset the timeline as nothing happened. Even in the end, the side characters weren't given any proper ending, and MC getting his girl. I finished both seasons in an attempt to understandthe high rating but I was let down.
