Review of Astra Lost in Space
A quick-paced, sci-fi anime with a little bit of everything; adventure, romance and some action wherein the characters in this story embark onto space and finds themselves in a conquest to get home safely. Within that twelve-episode watch, there weren't much time wasted and it was able to present itself in a very straightforward manner, and it was easy to get yourself hooked up to. Animation (7.5/10) - I think they did alright, generally it somehow felt like a middle-child quality in between the 2010s and 2020s; Although what I would like to emphasize is their distinct usage of color palettes. Every time their locations change,so does their color presentation which I think is rudimentary, but a functional method of portraying moods and the environment they reside onto. Alongside with their characters' spacesuits to emphasize their personalities.
Storyline (10/10) - Personally, I love the way how it was written and flown to delivery — In a matter of twelve episodes they were able to establish an in-depth of their plot seamlessly as they embark to their adventure, their characters are notable due to their varying backgrounds, goals and personality and with how it ended they made sure there were no cliffhangers and it was wrapped in a manner everyone gets what they deserved.
Soundtrack (5/10) - Honestly speaking, their soundtracks didn't sticked out that much to me. They have a decent, EP-length catalogue but it was nothing crazy. Although to give some credit somehow, one of the characters did a good thematic song that synced well wrapping the entire series. But other than that, I think it was passable.
Overall - 7.50 out of 10
