It's My Life · review
I believe this anime short is best appreciated by those who have already read the manga and are familiar with the characters and their relationships. It feels like a special treat for existing fans—something that adds depth or humor to a scene they already know and love. The episode itself is only about 10 minutes long and focuses on a very specific moment. While that scene was entertaining and had its fun elements, I couldn’t fully enjoy it because I wasn’t familiar with the characters or the context. Without understanding their backstories or how they relate to one another, it’s difficult to grasp the full emotionalweight or humor of the scene.
If you’re someone who just happened to stumble upon this anime without any prior knowledge of the source material, I would recommend skipping it—or at least reading the manga first. Otherwise, it might feel a bit confusing or underwhelming, since so much relies on what you already know going in.
