Review of The Rising of the Shield Hero
This has to be the best Isekai i've seen so far. Naofumi, the main character, has to overcome alot of hard ships due to one false accusation, which in an era of online witch hunts, is almost a parody of reality in an of itself. In the beginning our main character is at the rock bottom of society and all because he had the misfortune of being "born" into the least favourite hero role and furthermore being used by those above him. When you phrase it like this i seriously wonder why this series got so much hate by fellow left leaning people on theinternet... Because its literally a story about overcoming oppression. Sure he got himself a "slave" but what makes a slave? Doesnt he treat his "slave" better than most other humans treat their non slave employees? Idk i dont really want to politicise this stuffi just felt the need to explain some of the most commonly stated accusations... In the end everyone should come to his/her own conclusion. You shouldn't be influenced by either side of the discussion. Give it a try. All i can say is that i enjoyed this anime - ALOT!
