I only have one real nitpicky thing to say about these movies, other than that the story has been slashed down even further than the original anime (I suggest reading the manga, SO many details are left out of both anime). The animation. The main characters look AMAZING. I cannot tell you how excited I was to see how far anime has come from the original Berserk. HOWEVER, when the focus shifts to group shots on the battle field, the quality goes completely out the window. The "stock" armies look like PS2 video game graphics. I understand that no one would want to draw all of those soldiersfighting as detailed at the main cast... but the use of CG in the middle of such beautiful work is disappointing to me.

Other than that, I found all 3 films to be quite refreshing. My only wish is that they continue the anime this time. Please.
