Review of Fate/Zero

If I could sum up Fat/Zero into 3 words it would be "it's not bad". If you are just NOW starting to watch this series, this is where I would probably start. It is a prequel to the popular Fate/Stay Night series that was made in 2006. Lucky for us watching in 2021, we don't have to watch it in the Tarentino-esq format as it was intended. If you wanted to, you could watch this before Stay/Night (or Unlimited Bladeworks which is the same thing only better). Zero will lay out the groundwork of the series for you, and explain the Holy Grail wars andwhat was so important about the 4th one.

Watching this did actually make me research some of the legends that they had show up as "Servants" for the Holy Grail war. It was interesting! If you are in any way a fan of old legends, and amazing people that lived, loved, conquered, and changed our world, you'll probably dig the show.

I enjoyed the character development and the twists and turns along the way. Some of the fights were a little boring in my opinion, but some were pretty cool. It was very interesting to see the choices the main character makes at the end, and what lead him to do so. There is a little CGI in here, but its not overdone. Most of it is still good art, and I can appreciate that.
