Ever wanted to have a good elementary school life? Well watch this anime and you will have the most exciting elementary school life possible. The story is basically about a guy in fifth grade getting into many awkward situations with many different girls. Each episode consists of several awkward encounters, most consisting of sexual innuendoes, which all end in a very well executed punch line. The art is perfect for this show; its fluid animation and light colour tones give this show a very happy mood. A comedy anime like this one takes an extra step over other comedies because of its close attention to detail. Thecharacters were all well developed even in the short four episode span. The key to this anime is that they showed an age group in which girl and boy relationships are just developing, and having the main character relatively clueless to such things. The punch line is also even better developed by the fact that the characters barely know what they are doing is wrong.

In terms of enjoyment, this show puts you on the ground rolling in laughter. The opening and ending songs are mediocre, and the background music is average however the many silences made it more awkward (good thing). You will not walk away unhappy. The TV series of Kyou no go no ni however is much worse, and ruins this show, so I recommend watching the OVA first, which is the order they are aired.
