Review of Gintama

I know, it seems like I am overdoing it with this score, but I truly believe Gintama is worthy of it. The art back in 2006 of course wasn't high resolution, considering HD TV'S weren't out at the time either. Even so, the art is very beautiful. The show itself? Hilarious. Outstanding. Never have I had a show that made me laugh really hard but also cry at the same time, Gintama was the ONLY show capable of doing this. They also tend to make many parodies of other anime such as DBZ, One piece, Tu Love-Ru, Naruto, Etc...They aren't afraid of it either, theycould take an anime series. make it into a parody whenever they want, and they even call themselves out on it. Gintama is known to break the 4th wall a lot, and it's true since I have obviously watched up to the latest episode. I know many say the beginning is boring, and that there isn't much action until later in the series, which is wrong. They have arcs early on. Sure it's not the best action at the time, but the more you watch, you'll clearly see the action getting better and better. Please don't let those who say it's bad after only watching a few episodes, turn you away from Gintama, because it really is a wonderful show.
