Review of High School of the Dead

H.O.T.D is your typical Ecchi show in many respects... it's silly, the characters are very one dimensional and it's full of fan service but it is almost certainly the best Ecchi show ever made because it's the only one I know that can carry a moderately serious and eventful story that's is nicely re-enforced with a brilliant art style and very well animated and choreographed fight scenes. This show is great for either a serious anime fan who wants a little mind numbing fun in between more serious plots or a good stepping stone into serious anime for hardcore Ecchi fans. Also if you findthis a little too short and feel as if the characters don't have much development read the manga, the plot and the character development definitely improves where the Manga picks up from the Anime.
