Review of Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo
The action in this show was intense, though for the first thirty minutes or so, I have no idea what all the technical sounding commands that were being thrown around left and right was all about. Communication flow about what went down during the fourteen years between Shinji and the rest of the characters seemed to be nonexistent. It would have prevented a lot of unnecessary confusion for Shinji if someone had actually told him some facts instead of vague "don't touch this" or "don't do that" kind of phrases. At some point during the show, I also started to wonder how such a whinyand wimpy character like Shinji got to have the kind of responsibilities he seemed to have had before.
Overall the show was just ok, with an amazing soundtrack that probably saved the day.
