I don't remember when or why I added school days to myanimelist but I was going on a binge and decided that I was going to watch this one. I also really enjoyed Elfen Lied and Rumbling Hearts which were in the "Recommended" list. MUSIC: A bit of an older style soundtrack but I thought it was great, very easy to listen to and I feel like this was something I would add to my spotify playlist. Depends on your mood, but if you're feeling like a deep, steamy, kind of thought provoking sound then this music will be something you'd probably enjoy. It also suits theanime pretty well and definitely adds to the effect.

CHARACTERS:

Oh wow, what just happened? Hmm well let's just say you think you know what's going on and then you don't. At some point it takes a turn and to be honest the characters each develop in their own way. The main character starts out as a regular guy that you might relate to if you've ever had a crush on someone. As the anime goes on he becomes a complete douchebag that you really start to hate. That kind of strong emotion you feel for a character takes time to develop and they really got it in the 12 episodes. Plus each girl character has their own kind of niche, even though sometimes its hard to tell some apart, by the end you kind of get the gist and know enough about each one to have a favourite.

STORY:

As I watched the beginning of the series (say the first 8 episodes) it just felt like a love triangle/romance. I think that's what I was wanting to watch and it was good, entertaining. As the characters develop it does keep you guessing what's going to happen next. Some of the main characters actions can be a bit confusing and you can't help but get a bit emotional. Then it takes a turn and the genre changes. I'm not going to say what it changes to or that might be a spoiler in itself but its a very original way to make a love triangle show stand out (from the ones that I've watched). Very good twist.

ART:

Art was alright, its a bit older so I wouldn't rave about it. But I would say the colour scheme did suit the mood as the show changed and developed along with the other aspects of the show. If you don't mind a bit of an older style art then I'd recommend sitting through it for the other things I described above.
