Review of Gintama
Gintama is a very random show, and I recommend this to people who just love animes that are very humorous, and can be serious on some occasions. Story: There is no plot to this, it has some arcs or double episodes that have a plot, but then it ends after the episodes, which mostly last about 3 or 4 episodes. They have great serious arcs, and awesome action scenes, but overall the whole anime is random, it spoofs other animes, but is good to watch when you just want to laugh a bit. Sounds: The sub is great, it grabs the right kind of voicesin each scene. Now, there is a dubbed movie, but I personally think that its dub is bad, because its voic actors just do not go together with the characters. So, just watch only sub versions, since that's all there is.
Art: There's not much to say, it's pretty average. There's not something that screams "Oh my god, its amazing" or "This sucks". Its just average.
Sound: The openings are great, and they have alot of upbeat openings, which are fun to listen to. Their endings are great as well, even the soundtracks. Hey, Hey, Samurai Heart~
Characters: Love them. Each character has a unique personality and I love the women in Gintama, because they don't always act so ladylike and even half of them love to cross dress. The characters are just awesome.
All in all, Gintama is a good anime for the viewers who have been in the anime world for a long time. Not a gateway anime, but its good for the people who love comedy, sci-fi, and samurais. I would go watch it.
