Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day
AnoHana is a show who reflects brilliantly the loss of a close childhood friend, and how a group of grown teens reunite for that cause. One of the big pros in this anime are the characters. Everyone of them has their unique personality. The coldness of Tsuruko, the charm of Poppo, the arrogance of Yukiatsu, or the innocence of Menma, all of them are extremely relatable. The plot itself is outstanding, telling how close can a group of old friends go, just to remember a person they used to spend the time with, and how they really feel Menma's death. Of course, you're going to need tissues, especiallywhile watching the last episode. It's the first time I've cried watching an anime, and those last minutes, no matter who you are, can break your heart really easily.
In conclusion, AnoHana is really worth it, no matter what type of fan you are, I think it's one of the essentials.
