Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

A very heartwarming but sad anime. You just can't help but cry while watching as it reminds you about your friends and how important they are in your life. The style of art in this series has that "calm before the storm" feeling. You can tell something deep will happen as you reach the final episodes. It also has that movie feel to it. Soundtracks are good as well although i prefer the anime version of the OP than the full song. ED song is a remake of a ZONE classic by...err..ZONE lol. Facial expressions of the characters are very well portrayed especially onthe drama parts. A mature style of drawing technique that reminds of those mecha animes like gundam or guilty crown. Drama and slice of life lovers will definitely love this series. Bring out the tissue boxes.
