Review of Neon Genesis Evangelion

Writing this review only for the fact that I got baited by the entire anime community into watching this as it is a 'MASTERPIECE' and 'keep watching it gets good at the end'. The latter is false, and so is the former. For those wanting a short summary: this show is incredibly outdated. I honestly don't see how anyone can consider this a 'great' show without having nostalgia bias. I can appreciate it might have once been considered a masterpiece in the early 2000s/late 1990s, however, for newcomers like myself, this is nothing but predictable boring trash. CHARACTERS: BLAND AND BORING; Cannot claim to likeany character in the series, nor do i dislike any of them. They are all so bland that it makes the show hard to watch. The story cannot succeed without characters to pilot it.
