If you are like me, then you started watching this in preparation for the third season. Anything that has 3 seasons has got to be at least decent, right? Absolutely. Throw away everything you know about Harem anime. normally the protagonist is some kind of either cool guy or a jerk surrounded by girls and he must pick one/survive them. This couldn't be more different! Keima is an total otaku who wants to do nothing but play eroge on his PFP. He survives purely on gaming and it is rare to see him without it. he calls himself "The God of Conquest" because he conquersevery girl in his video games. One day he receives a challenge with a girl he could not possibly conquer. so he accepts while simultaneously and unwittingly enters a contract with the Demon Elsie, a cute, cheery, dojiko girl who truly believes in Keima's abilities. He must now help Elsie collect all of the Escaped Souls inhabiting humans. Surprisingly, all of these humans are girls! the only way to remove a demon soul from his target is for him to "play her route" and replace the demon in her heart with himself, a task he loathes, with none other than a kiss.

What makes this anime so different is that the girls still don't flock to him after he has kissed them. Rather the soul leaves them and they completely forget the encounter. This makes each capture all the better since he doesn't have to deal with fan girls hounding him the whole time.

The idea behind this anime is fantastic because rather than restart the story line, like in Amagami SS, and do a whole bunch of story arcs, he effectively plays every girl's route in a connected flow that makes it fun to watch and enjoy.
