Review of City Hunter
City Hunter is one of the leading anime of the 1980s. The atmospheres, drawings, and never dull characters make this work unique. Although the seasons never have a continuous plot but only episodes with a separate storyline, the plot is present only in the very first episodes, where one main character is replaced with another who will later become the undisputed protagonist together with Ryo; we are talking about Kaori. In each episode a different girl is introduced, never stereotyped and always elegant. Dizzying music, along with the opening and closing theme songs also make this anime perfect on the musical side. In Italy, unfortunately, from the second seasononward they changed Ryo Saeba's voice actor, and the third and fourth seasons we could not appreciate them that much.
But I can only give a 9 to this timeless work, which introduced a character (Ryo Saeba) who later inspired so many other characters.
