Review of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

The first season of Code Geass is rather enjoyable. If you like mechs and political revolution you will enjoy it. This doesn't apply for the second season though. I won't get into that here but the second season takes the show in a completely different direction that I'm sure will leave some people feeling like they missed the mark. One huge issue with this anime is the characters, they often feel like they just make up their own motivation. The show always gives a reason for their outrages behavior but rarely ever does it make much sense as the viewer. Nina and Kururugi Suzaku arethe main culprits as far as characters that are intolerable to watch and impossible to understand. Get past this and the show is entertaining.
