Review of School Days

The plot is good, cliché but good. The characters were horrible. All characters are stupid or cruel or both, they are very bidimensional (almost unidimensional) and they move the plot through sheer stupidity (something very wrong happens right in front of them and they say nothing! They do nothing!). Makoto is a stupid egoist, Sekai is a cruel stupid, Kotonoha is a stupid weakling. The characters are barely developed and usually that happens just to show how stupid or how cruel they are to each other. This could really be a nice anime if it had good characters or maybe more episodes to develop thecharacters. In fact, the characters with some kind of depth were almost extras (Makoto's friend... kind of, that girl from basketball club or Otome, for instance). The really good parts were the play scene about a flower and the finale. Oh, that finale... it was the first time I cheered up to that kind of scene. I wished the finale had included all the other characters. Except Kokoro-chan and her friend. They were good characters.
