Review of Fairy Tail

Fairy Fail....I mean Fairy Tail. A generic, cliche and repetitive anime. Why on earth is this rated 8.06 on this site? Well, 12 year olds I guess.... POSITIVES: Music is actually good It has its moments (very few) NEGATIVES: The rest... STORY: 2/10 Like I said, its generic, cliche and repetitve. Basically every arc they would go to a random place, they will meet a very strong villain and this villain would wreck them and spare their lives but little did that villain know that "Friendship is power". While being caught off guard, Natsu would proceed to one-shot that "very strong" villain and the end. How boring. You could've watched Fullmetal Alchemist:Brotherhood(A masterpiece by the way) twice or even thrice or Hunter x Hunter 2011 which have well written stories. A waste of time if you're a person who has standards.

CHARACTERS: 2/10
They're all generic. Some of them have their own flashbacks but they still remain as bland characters. Natsu is your typical MC who wants to save his friends in times of danger and at the same time wants to be the strongest. Lucy is the best (or worst) example for a typical girl in anime who is used for fanservice but in the actual story.....USELESS. Happy is a shitty, annoying character. Gray is "cool" but can get annoying sometimes. The side characters are also very forgettable. I just can't get attached to them. The villains in this anime are just horribly handled (check the "story" section again, Every villain is handled like that). One of the worst cast of characters I've seen.

Story and characters are the only two things I critic in any show. If they both suck, even if the animation and music are top-notch, then the show as a whole sucks.
