It is a nice anime. And a lacking story with no protagonist. It opens well, main problem is interesting and graphics are nice. The problem with this anime is twofold. 1. lacking delivery. 2. no protagonist. It basically has no protagonist because actual protagonist is dead in advance and story behaves as such. MP just shoved along, stumbling from one dead end to another in order to act as a protagonist, failing to do as much. I could like that, because it could be framed as "they are just teens", but that leads us to another problem. Story should be shorter. It is interesting, but not 11 episodesinteresting and stretched so thin, it lacks proper punch. It is probably also why I cant feel like it delivers. I keep getting feeling story knows where it is going (RIP) and is just filling blank space in between. I would really want this story to work, because I can see its promise. But that is just my wishful thinking. Story is more appropriate than interesting. I think it would made a great movie. Not "great great", it would just be a better format. Or maybe something 3-6 episodes long. That would be better.

I gave it 8, but only because of graphics. The way story is told, it should have stronger story. Instead, I keep liking graphics more than I like story. I had no such problem with Violet Evergarden. So more appropriate number might be 7 (story alone is for me 6), but it does look nice, so ... good job on that.
