Review of School Days

School days is an inteligent deconstruction of the typical romance anime. The series starts with stereotypical characters as a mediocre slice of life, but after a couple episodes it turns into a psychological drama with a message to tell similiar to award winning movies like joker big eyes and last year parasite . After a couple slice of life episodes, it starts being a young male fantasy, everybody wanted as a teenageer but portrayed realisticly with consequences, that don't have to be physical but could be a psychical, with a warning in mind. In a short spend of episodes characters change drasticly, but believable, considering theirage, which according to human brain studies is an age of biggest mindset changes, you watch them grow and fall at the same time.
Art style, animation and sound design are acceptable, with added a very emotional and rich instrumentaly opening.
This masterpiece of a series could succesfully be compared to a mix beetween higurashi no naku koro ni and yahari no ore with a little but spicy flavour of domestic no kanojo.

In reviews of this series there is a lot of discussion about the ending,
shortly it is very fucking emotional and satisfying.

Everyone who watched any anime should watch this underrated cult masterpiece.
