For clarity, i rated this a 10 simply for nostalgia and how I felt when reading the manga when I did. Not the greatest plot but it's definitely different and has a unique atmosphere about it. If you're a fan of the manga you're bound to be disappointed but it is an enjoyable story nonetheless from my perspective and the lackluster animation doesn't change that. Read this in a very dark place in my life and it gave me strength when i thought I had none left. IRL anime rating would be a 6/10 if i had no bias. Good but not great.
