Father and Son · review
Chichi to Ko: In short: This manga is an amazing slice of life/comedy Episodic in nature, Chichi to Ko, is a slapstick comedy about a Father and Son with the mother being lost all the time. Don't be fooled by its humble synopsis, it is quite an enjoyable and relaxing read. The side-characters are well crafted, with each having their own enjoyable personality quirks. I can't recall any story arcs that I disliked nor any did I find unamusing. The strongest part of this manga I would say is the characters. While each represents a sort of gimmick/trait, it is quite humorous and they make for a very interestingamalgam of interactions.
Albeit if you're interested in a story with a complex underlying plot line, this is not the manga for you. But if you have the time and simply wish to enjoy a simplistic comedy, I would say Chichi to ko is amongst the best.
