No point in reading this one as this was canceled and replaced. This is the serialization with the old artist: Takashi Minakuchi. There's another manga of the same name with the same author that covers this and more of the light novel with a new artist: Shougo Aoki. This is a prequel story to Goblin Slayer which tells the tale of how the "All-Stars" came to be and how they braved the 'Dungeon of the Dead' and defeated the great demon lord down in its depths and saved the world. Basically if you like Goblin Slayer and wanted more of its tone, characters, and world then thisis another choice among the handful of Goblin Slayer spin-off mangas to choose from.

But again, go read the other "Goblin Slayer Gaiden 2: Tsubanari no Daikatana" as that's actually ongoing and covers the same light novel.
