6.8/10 I’ve fallen in love with the reverse isekai romance genre/trope due to the countless possibilities of wholesomeness, but this manga just isn’t it. The main allure of said mangas is the likability of the characters from seeing how they adapt to a completely new world/existence, but this goes beyond realism and reason within character personalities. To say the least, none of the characters act “human.” Besides for the self-insert protagonist who has nothing going for him, every single side character act in a way where every speech or action they do lack reason, causing there to be a disconnect from the character depth itself. Theplot’s also pretty forced with how the fmc and mc ultimately end up together, which ruins half of the fun that comes with the reverse isekai trope; this in turn adds little chemistry with the couple.
I mean, from the premise alone, it’s readable, but there’s tons of flaws within the writing that causes this manga to fall a bit short in satisfaction and wholesomeness.
