Tomodachi Game · review
Friendship and Betrayal~ Unlike many psychological thrillers that focus purely on survival, the story is filled with intricate mind games and unexpected twists. Tomodachi Game revolves around the concept of testing friendships through deception, manipulation, and financial debt. It challenges the idea of whether money or trust is more valuable. The protagonist, Yuichi Katagiri, is a fascinating character who constantly outsmarts opponents with his intelligence and strategic thinking. If you love Liar Game or Kaiji you will definitely love the unpredictable nature of competition on this one. It also have a very diverse and unique characters, rather than relying on simple archetypes, the author simply givesdepth to its cast. Each character has their own motivations, secrets, and weaknesses, making it hard to tell who is truly trustworthy.
(Btw, I love Social Deduction Games and I like how the author incorporates the social deduction vibes on this series.)
