The pacing was nice, the singing was terrific, and the characters were overall good. They all had episodes where you could see their growth as an idol. Like how Rio became the middle for the first time wowing the crowds at the mall and how Kyouka got over her fear of messing up again. Momoiji and Yukine were great mentors at the start giving lessons to the 3. Even though Yukine did sometimes insult the girls a little she came around at the end which was shown when she was making sure that Ren didn't try stealing Haru away. Haru also got over her fearof being to good after she hurt Ren's feelings because she was just to good of an idol.
