Kurosaki Wants Me All to Himself: The Intense Sweetness of First Love · review
Clean 2/10. One of the worst bait and switch Shoujo in a while. Starts out really strong and sweet-wholesome but turns extremely bitter after like 9 chapters, completely changing genre. One of the main characters is ruined in the process, ending up (random change) as a damsel in distress^100- it is next level cringe how she behaves, almost mental illness levels of stupidity are reached. Deflection, excuses, delusions and being spineless are the only traits left after chapter 9. Chapter 14-16 had me physically hurting it was that bad. I irl felt bad for the ML, that is how poorly she treats him randomly. Can't understandhow the author thinks it is a good idea to have him unconditionally like a person that behaves like a habitual cheater... Also, the "2nd ML" (actual coercion) who is more like a petty criminal that forces himself on his victims is being treated waaay too leniently by her. It is actually disgusting and borders on hentai writing..
I WISH I WAS KIDDING but she was changed into that creepy "victim gets harassed so much she is mindbroken and actually starts liking and allowing the abuser/seeking them out of own volition" brainmush heroine. We had 4 chapters of her trying to persuade ML of how much she loves him to then act the exact opposite (habitual cheater) and just do everything wrong. How is that good writing??
That shit can't ever be redeemed, any attempt at a happy ending without her getting massive slaps on the wrist will feel forced.
I do NOT recommend this manga. Period. This is insulting to the characters that were established. Author treats the reader like they are stupid, trying to sell this snake oil of writing to anyone. "Dunno how to proceed the story so Ima change a main character into a brainless tool". Lame.
