I seem to keep falling into a trap by reading a manga with middle aged main characters and having the stories end abruptly or disappointingly. The premise of this story was really good; a man and his wife (who are ex-adventurers? It's never really explained) raise a son and the son gets chosen to be the hero of the kingdom and defeat the demon king. However 2 years later the husband and wife find out their son is abusing his power as hero to indulge in women and other vices and they decide to go kick his ass. The problem is the story falls flatafter about 5 chapters. They meet up with their son, find out a succubus was causing the problems, kick his ass and that resolves him to become a righteous hero. They then split up and the story ends after a few more chapters of nothing happening except them training a bunny girl while they walk towards an underwater kingdom.
I'm not sure of the situation behind this manga's ending but nothing is really resolved and ends on a cliffhanger about a big bad from another world. It was really disappointing and honestly a waste of a couple of hours. I'm giving a 3 because the artwork is ok. Story is definitely a 1 and should have been planned out better.
