For personal purposes this is a 10/10, but critically I'll give it an 8/10. I'm very early on in my BL journey but with everyone I read I'm like, 'no, THIS is the best one' but I sincerely think this one will have a little place in my heart for a very long time. The pacing of this was very nice, despite its length the relationship has a slow build to the point I found myself getting audibly excited when things started moving, which is rare for me to be caught up like this. I would've liked to have seen more of them: both of thelead up to a relationship and the result of it.
I think it's not having much of them being together that makes the ending feel quite rushed and therefore it didn't have the impact I expected it to. It was a little predictable, but that's not a bad thing really. What little of the 'official' relationship you see is really worth it, very sweet and bitter at the same time.
I don't think I could've ever gotten enough of it, really.
I must say I really enjoyed the homoerotic quality to some of the earlier gore and I wish that was in it for longer. Some of those panels are absolutely perfect and without seeing them, I'm afraid I sound insane referring to them as 'homoerotic'. There are other small personal reasons that this is a 10/10 but I won't bore you with them.
Just take it as I highly recommend you read iif you want something a little unconventional and sweet, with nice art and a satisfying build up.
