A very generic sports shonen manga. Complete with the underdog MC and the genius rival. So far, there is nothing new to be explored in this manga that you have not seen done better in other series. For a sports series, it also doesn't take the time to explore the team members and their dynamics other than the core characters, making it hard to root for them when the time comes. Overall, it is just lacking that intensity and tension that makes both real and fictional sports entertaining. I wouldn't recommend this to fans of the sport or the genre.
