Review of My Love Story!!

Wasn't expecting to watch such a cute rom-com with my boyfriend, but here we are 24 episodes later! let's get right into the anime basics. Story; You get to follow the main lead, Takeo Gouda, who is your typical first year high-school student... if it wasn't for his gigantic build, but that doesn't stop him from his dream; to find loveat first sight, and eventually their everyday lives become a lot more exciting. See how their "Love Story" builds up, what problems they overcome together and how beautiful friendship can be. Art; Ohhh MadHouse, how I love you <3 I read the manga for this before watching the anime. I believe they did a fantastic job animating the original style of the manga, and the colours are Just SO WONDERFUL!!! Sound; How can you not jam out to this OST? I wish I could sing this opening "Answer" by TRUSTRICK on a macaroon/strawberry.... Characters; There's usually one character that you hate in an anime, but everyone is just so loveable in this god damn show. Best friends siblings, parents, stalkers with crushes... I loved them all and what they each added to their "Love Story"

Overall, I really enjoyed the adaption of Ore Monogatari!! I was originally going to give this anime an 8, but my boyfriend convinced me slightly to give it a 9.

The story was a bit slow at the beginning, but that's just how their relationship was built to be! Even if it was a bit slow, they made every last bit entertaining. I just the last episode had more of an IMPACT - maybe for more OOMPH (Although it was extremely adorable and whole-hearted)

Highly suggest this anime to anyone who needs a sweet romance and good laugh!
