Review of Ride Your Wave

This movie was overall an ethereal experience. The vibes I get from this entire animation is breathtaking to another level. I picked up this movie out of pure curiosity, and left with a lot of emotional baggage. -- The art and animation is beyond words describable. The colors are so bright and light, its very refreshing and reminds me a lot of (of course) the summer time and brought a lot of nostalgia. The music is on a whole next level. I absolutely adore the song "Brand New Story," especially the version where Hinako and Minato sing, its the most adorable music to go withthe whole feel of the movie. -- Now about the story, personally it is very well written. Simple, yet beautifully crafted. The conflict of each character is so relatable and understandable. -- I felt so entranced by this film, thus my perfect rating. I had such an enjoyable time with this film, I'd recommend watching it with all my soul just for something nice and light to get carried along with. Rather than following the story, the story was able to lead me along nicely.
