Review of Land of the Lustrous

Pluses: + Interesting, fresh setting + Nice, diverce characters. While main hero is in focus, most of others receive development too and don't feel useless + Non-standart artstyle. 3D! It has minuses, such as having low-fps, and somewhat empty backgrounds. But characters look great, many action scenes too and it feels so unique, i will put it at 9 just for that + Weird, non-predictable, intriguing story + Interesting to watch + I feel like it's the best shounen anime i saw Minuses:- I disliked development of the Phos (MH) near the end. Without spoilers, she "lost her spark". Also, her power level changed kinda drastically without much justification. I can suspect that this is "not her final form" and she will develop more, but here comes the next minus
- Ending is abrupt, with little hope for next seasons in the future... sad. Almost every question left without the answer. Maybe, i will try reading manga for the first time
- Story drastically changes its flow at times, switching main themes, which feels weird\rushed. Again, probably they just couldn't place everything in the anime
- Low-fps and empty backgrounds can trigger some people hard. I quickly got used to it and almost didn't notice that.

In general:

Unique anime in artstyle, in setting, in story. Pretty interesting to watch. Plot is nice (not super smart tho), but has abrupt ending and leaves many things open for future story, which probably will never come in a form of anime...
