Didn't really resonate with me, but I understand why people might love it. short review: Story: Starts off interesting, gets pretty dull for a while, then ends strongly. The last 3 episodes are when it captured my interest and started getting good. The first episode was a decent start as well. Art: more of an american style with flatly colored characters. Some really awkward animations. They chose a particular style and did it well, I just don't particularly enjoy that style. Also a lot of the action scenes happen in the dark, and it's impossible to tell what's happening without turning the brightness up. Character: mediocre. A lot of side charactersget time dedicated to them but don't actually matter to the story. Cast could be consolidated to make a stronger story. The best character development is focused on a single character and happens in the last episode. That part was great. Last few eps are by far the strongest in the series. Other than that there's not much in terms of character arcs.

Sound:
Good. Dope opening, nice ending. Incidental music did its job.

Overall:
The last few episdoes are the best part of this show, and the only thing keeping it from being completely mediocre. There's a lot of unnecessary mature content just for the sake of it being an 'adult' show. I like that kind of content, just not when it feels shoehorned in.

It didn't particularly resonate with me, but it's the kind of show where I can understand why someone would like it.
