Review of Black Clover

I enjoyed this anime more than most other TV shows I've ever seen. I love the concept of this entire show and the fact that each character has such unique and awesome magic really impressed me. The story was captivating and the characters were fantastic. In the beginning, it felt like just another cliche anime with cliche characters, but the more I watched, the more I was impressed and drawn in further. There are characters that have the same "type" of magic and yet how they utilize and adapt their skills really captivated me because though some other mage might have fire magic as well,they use it in a different way and have varying unique abilities that make each character individually brilliant. There was a fight scene or two where the animation lacked a little bit but I could see that the studio recognized it and made it better the next time. As well, certain fights or contests that fans really wanted to see were delivered to us throughout the show as "filler" yet I think those episodes define what "filler" should be, an episode that isn't necessarily important for the story, but that fans can really enjoy and love. Overall I loved the series and have ranked this in the top 3 anime I've seen so far
