Noragami follows a god named Yato through his struggle in finding a new partner a new shinki. Throughout this series he meets a lot of people like Hiyori a girl who actually saves Yato from getting hit by a truck on a job to find a stray cat in doing so there fates became tied together so she actually falls out of her own body into a spirit form which takes for as a cat with a tail linking her back to her body. For 5 yen Yato accepts her wish to help her return to her body so you see the struggle of Yatoa god of calamity try to be heard by more people and make his own shrine.
